On December 7, the 5th World New Energy Vehicle Congress opened in Haikou, Hainan, China. The congress invited representatives from enterprises, universities and research institutions from all over the world to discuss the low-carbon future and promote the high-quality development of the new energy vehicle industry. As the diamond sponsor of the congress, SAIC Motor led its multi-brand new energy vehicle models to debut. Among them, SAIC MAXUS brought MIFA Hydrogen, focusing on the field of hydrogen energy and promoting urban environmental protection

MIFA Hydrogen at the venue became one of the hot topics in the conference's technical discussions with its industry-leading 70MPa hydrogen storage technology and active and passive safety designs.
Under the ALL³ ROADMAP new energy strategic planning, SAIC MAXUS insists on the joint development of various energy sources such as pure electric, hybrid, and hydrogen fuel cells. It has currently formed a new energy product matrix covering all fields such as MPVs, SUVs, light commercial vehicles, pickup trucks, and recreational vehicles, bringing a better low-carbon travel life to global users.
The models unveiled at the venue are the latest achievements of SAIC MAXUS's new energy technology. In the field of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, SAIC MAXUS took the lead in entering the industry as early as 2017 when the industry was not yet formed. After the commercial operation of the first hydrogen fuel cell light commercial vehicle FCV80, SAIC MAXUS once again broke through the technical barriers and launched the country's first 70MPa product and the world's first hydrogen energy MPV MIFA Hydrogen, bringing fuel cell technology to a new field. On the technical level, MIFA Hydrogen is the first to use 70MPa hydrogen storage technology, and it only takes 3 minutes to fill a 6.4kg high-pressure hydrogen bottle, the cruising range is 605km, and it can achieve -30℃ low-temperature start. Many advantages have reached the world's high level. In terms of active and passive hydrogen safety design and verification, SAIC MAXUS has filled the gap in the industry and led and participated in the formulation of 10 Chinese fuel cell national standards. On the market level, MIFA Hydrogen also uses the innovative business model of "online car-hailing" to achieve the largest-scale hydrogen energy market operation in the country, making hydrogen energy vehicles truly convenient for consumers.
